A New Thing: Hair Styling Products Haul

14:55

So I went into boots on the hunt for some new hair products. With a 3 for 2 offer it would have been rude for me to not take advantage of that and try some new products.

First off is something that wasn't in the 3 for 2 offer and is something I haven't heard of or seen before. It's the Schwarzkopf got2b Oil-licious Weightless Dry Oil Mist. Have you ever heard of such a thing? This stuff is actually pretty cool. It tames frizz, and adds instant shine, creating a smooth and tangle-free look. It has Argan Oil in it and is suitable for everyday use, it certainly takes out the messy, oily hands dilemma.

Next is 3 products from the Toni & Guy range, which has different categories for different hair types. Starting with the Casual line, the Sea Salt Texturising Spray, I haven't tried any of the Toni & Guy hair range apart from the shine serum thingy-ma-jig which I really like. The only thing I get worried about with texturising sprays with sea salt in, is that it makes me hair feel crunchy and dries out my already damaged hair and I hate the feeling or crunchy damaged hair, so hopefully this will be crisp-free. Next from the same Casual line is the Rough Texturiser which says it provides instant root lift (you had me at texturiser) but gives a matte finish. Very much looking forward to trying this. Finally is something from the Classic line (same as the shine serum) the Wave Memoriser. Sounds intriguing right? This thing has really got me hooked. So it says it helps define waves and has a smooth and shiny finish, and there's some crazy 'shape recall technology' which helps reboost waves. I have been looking for a texturising type serum thingy to use on dry hair as I find I can really work it in much better than any spray and I don't really like mousse as it reminds me of my ballet dancing days and slicking my hair back with mousse and putting it in a proper bun (none of this messy bun lark, that was not acceptable, and you'd be sent out if you dared to show up like that) which is one of my least favourable memories. Slightly off topic, but I am really looking forward to playing around and testing these products out and hopefully it wasn't all a complete waste of money and time and that I can actually make my hair a tad more presentable. Fingers crossed.

Be sure to keep an eye out for any reviews on these or if they manage to get into my favourites.

Have you tried any of these?
