A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #11

This week has seen the launch of my very own website, complexion perfection week as well as using some amazing products, so here's what I have been loving this week.

First up is a type of product, featured in the Complexion Perfection #2 The Preperation, these have been incredible and really help give a radiance to the skin but keeping it very natural. Seventeen Skin WOW 3 Way Highlighter, Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, Superdrug Natural Radiant Balm and The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter. The Clarins and Superdrug offerings are similar in that they are a natural radiance booster, the NR is a clear gel consistency, rubbed in to the skin before applying makeup and the BFB is a cream texture which is meant to be applied to the skin but not rubbed in and then makeup be applied over top - very odd - but really amazing. However the Seventeen and The Body Shop highlighters have a pearly coloured liquid consistency and add a beautiful natural sheen to the cheeks without looking glittery. Love these and definitely recommend all of these.

I picked up some of the MUA Blushers from Superdrug and I just love the shades of these. Bubblegum is a bright coral, pink colour, Marshmallow which is a bright fuchsia, and finally Candyfloss which is a pale peachy, pink. Marshmallow is my favourite and I am so excited to pick some of their cream blushers up too. For £1 they're so inexpensive, and the pigmentation of these is just phenomenal, definitely recommend these. Especially if you're not certain what shade will suit your skin, or if you are on a lower budget or just starting to wear makeup.

Revlon Colourbust Matte Balm in Elusive has been pretty much the only thing I have worn this week. Either to its full colour potential or lightly patted on with my finger for a more natural look. I have some other shade of the matte and laquer balms from Revlon but I have my eye on a few others.

Barry M Nail Paint in Fuschia has been the only thing on my nails this week. It's lasted all week on my nails and my hands have been put through some nail damaging tasks this week. As all Barry M polishes, the colour is beautiful, opaque in 2 coats and even an original nail paint is so shiny. They have a new silky polish line which is something else I have my eye on so watch this space for a feature and swatches of some of the shades.

That's it for this weeks round up. A bit of a pink month but it's nearly spring, the sun is out (although it's still freezing) and needed to brighten up my look a bit.
