A Beauty Chat: Valentines Day Look #3

The final post is here and this is going to cover the Valentines Day night in. If you're single and feel too depressed to go out and watch couples making out everywhere, or if you and some girlfriends just want a girly night in or are a bit short on those Great British Pounds, then this is the post for you. This is exactly what myself and dani will be doing tomorrow for Date Night.

First order of business? Get the wine poured, candles lit, and the onesies on.
Second order? Remove makeup and snuggle under a blanket and watch a film - none of this romance, they all lived happily ever after crap.
This is very much like a date night, except if you're single then you will probably be a tad, irritable shall we say, if there is any sign of romance, happiness or love. But don't be tempted to comfort eat, we all know it doesn't do any good and you pay for it for about 2 weeks after. Darn your sugary sweetness and greasy heaven.

Normally on a pamper sesh or date night, the REN Radiance Mask is the first choice by miles, and although it is still a great choice, for this extra special occasion, we went with the Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Masque as it's promise to draw out impurities and leave skin clean and soft were just irresistible, and it needed to be put to the ultimate test as it is a new addition to the ATB stash.
When mask has been removed, what better occasion is there to crack open the Anatomicals Wake-up Under Eye Patches. I have been struggling with puffy and irritable eyes recently but this definitely helps.
As for hair, well, what pamper sesh/girls night in would be complete without a messy top knot, taking a very 'I don't care what I look like' approach.

If you have decided to have a night in on your own (maybe eating a tub of Ben & Jerrys ice cream whilst crying your eyes out watching The Notebook) first off, finish your blubbering (and the ice cream) and jump in the tub with a relaxing bath oil - this one is the De Stress Mind from Aromatherapy Associates, but any bath oil or bubble bath will do and just chill out - if like me a glass of rose would make the whole relaxing thing just that bit easier then by all means go right ahead. Remember, we said a glass, not bottle. Whilst relaxing, chuck a hair mask in that barnet and let the wine/oil/music/ice cream calm and relax your mood.

That's it for my Valentines Day looks. I really hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed creating them and playing around with makeup and hair. Let me know what you got up to this Valentines Day and whether you created any looks using these posts?
