A Feature: Date Night #4 & Day trip to Center Parcs

I have the bestest best friend in the world. Not only did we get to have a much needed date night, she also surprised me with a day trip to Center Parcs at Sherwood Forest.

Date Night: Date nights have been pretty thin on the ground the last couple of months. We're either busy, working or with boyfriends, but we both felt a date night was in order before Center Parcs and out came Dani's over night bag. So with pj's on, Despicable Me gracing the TV screen, makeup off, it was time for a face mask and a browse on Pinterest. REN glycolactic radiance renewal mask was just what the doctor ordered as I have had a real issue with breakouts which I'm not sure if they're because I've been very poorly and not been able to eat or whether it's because of the weather. But dani has had the same issue so we're blaming the weather. When the mask had worked it's magic it was time to add some moisture to those pesky spots and dry patches, so for this it was only right that the Pai Rosehip Oil was cracked open - Dani had never tried oil and I apologise now to her bank balance as I'm pretty sure that's now on her wish list.

With a not so bright (pitch black) early morning wake up call it was a quick get ready, going through the checklist to make sure we had everything and off we went to Center Parcs with iPod and Maryland cookies in hand.

Center Parcs: Although rather chilly at Center Parcs, it was a lovely day out. Being a Center Parcs virgin I was given the grand tour (round half of the site, it was too cold and my hip hurt). A quick stop to the villa Dani's family were staying in and watching the squirrels come right to the patio door to find something to eat, which is where we met our little friend Jeremy. Off to the main village bit and it was time for a little swim. Now, I have a bad hip so I was a bit worried I wouldn't get on too well with it, and although I couldn't use my legs to swim, being thrown down the rapids I ended up getting thrown into a wall and my hip taking the brunt of it - I was not impressed. A quick dip in the jacuzzi to warm up and it was off to get changed and have another look around some shops were I ended up buying a Superdry jumper. But I am now a Centre Parcs convert and we are already planning the next trip.

Another post will be up tomorrow which will show you the outfits we wore and the makeup.

I am still having some technical difficulties (darn technology) so I apologise again if this post is not of usual standar but please bare with me, I am trying to get it sorted as soon as possible.

What did you guys get up to this weekend?
