A Favourite - November Favourites

15:33

I can't believe it's the end of November already, to me, that means autumn is over and winter is well and truly making its appearance. I am so excited for Christmas and the start of 2014. But let's get into my monthly favs.
Products: Nuxe Rev De Miel // Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm // Origins Drink Up Intensive Over Night Mask // The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer // Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace // Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat // Garnier Skin Naturals Anti-Dark Circle eye roll on // Necklace //

So I have quite a few favourites this month, so let's get cracking.

Makeup:
I have been very obsessed with having a natural radiant glow to my skin so I have been loving using the Mary Lou-Manizer Illuminating Powder from The Balm. This is a very pigmented, dramatic but perfect highlighter. If not applied with a light hand then you run the risk of looking like a disco ball, I have been using a flat foundation brush to apply this on the tops of my cheeks and when it catches the light, boy does this little beauty look stunning.
I have only one product that I have tried from Sleek and I have been using it most days this month. The Blush by 3 palette is so pigmented and looks very scary. It is so bright and looks like it's so intimidating but if you use a light hand with it and blend it properly it looks absolutely beautiful.
Carrying on with the theme of highlighting is the YSL Touche Eclat in Shade 1. This has been so good to use before concealer to cover the dark circles I have developed from not sleeping more than 3 hours a night for the last 6 months. This has a pink/salmon undertone to it so is brilliant for brightening the under/corner eye area. I then use the Garnier Caffeine/Dark Circle eye roll on to highlight and conceal the area a bit more. I have loved the look it gives, it makes me look a lot more refreshed which I need all the help I can get.
Skincare: With my skin throwing a tantrum I have really had to cut down the products I use and go through a process of elimination. I have a few products that I use day to day and some that I use only if I have a major issue or catastrophe. Even though I have used it everyday since I got it, the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm really helps to calm and nourish the breakout area and help them to heal and to moisturise the dry skin. I sometimes like to leave this on as a mask, unless I am using the next two products.
First is the Origins Overnight moisture mask. I love everything about this, the scent, the packaging, the price, and the performance. Next is Argan Oil which I like to sandwich between a serum and a moisturiser for maximum hydration. Adding an oil into my skincare has really helped to balance my skins natural oil production so I am not anywhere near as oily through the day than what I used to be.
Fashion & Accessories:
Finally, I have been wearing skater style dresses for quite a while now, I purchased a navy one online in October and I just had to put it in my favourites. I love this thing. It can be dressed up or down, I wear this for work and when I am just hanging out with friends. It goes with any kind of jewellery and it can be paired with a striped white and black cardigan or a chunkier thick knit cardigan. It's just so versatile and it's so comfy as well. I have a lot of other colours but I have really been loving this one.
Last of my monthly favourites is a necklace. I was given this on my 21st birthday earlier on this year from my best friend Dani and I have been wearing it none stop this last month. I love this, it has a little envelope and a bird and the envelope actually opens and there is a small piece of wood in there with a message from Dani. I love how personalised this is and not only does it remind me of my 21st birthday it reminds me what an amazing best friend I have. So thank you very much Dani.
