A Beauty Chat - Whats On My Face #1

16:24

These kind of blogs are my favourite sort to read, or watch on YouTube. So I thought I would give this a go. Hope you enjoy

Base & Cheeks: After cleansing my face and applying serum/moisturiser etc I then go in with my foundation, this particular day I decided to give the Bourjois Happy Light Foundation in 50 Porcelain a go as I have been using other foundations. So I applied this with a buffing brush all over the skin, concentrating on areas that I need the most coverage, as you can see my skin is rather spotty at the moment - which I am tackling with a strict regime of Alpha H Liquid Gold every other night and watching what I eat and drink. Once foundation is on I then apply my highlighter, now I have been loving the Miners Beauty brilliance Multipurpose Highlighter Stick in Dream. This is a very natural and subtle highlight which I like just on the tops of my cheek bones. I am on the lookout for a highlighter though.
Concealer next and I just love the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in 010 Ivory. This is so creamy and easy to blend, it is perfect under eyes or on blemishes. Absolutely love this. A quick sweep of Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Translucent Face Powder to set the concealer and that's concealing done, on to cheeks - MAC Powder Blush in Desert Rose is a perfect blush for Autumn/Winter and I have been wearing this a lot., it's not too pink and it's not too plum it's right in the middle and I love it for this time of year. A light dusting of Bourjois Java Rice Powder to add some radiance to the skin and that's face done, I apply Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm, and then it's on to the eyes.

Eyes & Lips: I kept it fairly simple on the lids, nothing to crazy, first up is MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study, giving a natural and slightly shimmery champagne base to work on this is my first ever MAC Paint Pot and I know it won't be my last, I love this, beautiful texture, applies amazingly, lasts all day and is available in so many beautiful colours - Incredible. I then apply Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette in to the crease, then just very lightly YDK on the outer corner and crease, blend with a fluffy brush and also take some of  Tease and YDK along the lower lash line to create a slightly smoky look and that's the eye lids done.
Once that's done, I use the Bourjois 16hr Kohl And Contour eyeliner in 78 Brun Design along the outer corner of the upper and lower lash line, and adding some of Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof eyeliner pencil in 005 Nude in the inner corner, and a light helping of the lightest shade from Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Palette in 022 Brixton Brown - I love the highlight shade, I think it is just so beautiful, the perfect colour for the inner corner to widen and brighten the eyes, and the pigmentation is incredible. - Curl eyelashes and apply a layer of Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express Waterproof Mascara and that's the eyes done. I apply very lightly the Revlon Lip Butter in 010 Raspberry Pie to the lips and dab with my finger to blend it in and make it a bit more subtle. All done.
