A Weekend Special - Powder Cream or Tint?

What do you prefer?
Everyone who knows me, knows that if I want to try a product then I will - even if I have more than necessary already in my makeup stash - I just can't help myself.
So when I saw these offerings, I was keen to see whether this was going to end in disaster of if I would have perfectly natural flushed cheeks. I will admit it does take a while to get used to the different textures, but practice makes perfect and I got the hang of it after a few shots - granted some days I looked like I had an argument with a tin of paint and lost miserably.

Last week I purchased the Maxfactor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink. I found this very easy to apply and blended perfectly for a natural cheek. You don't need a huge amount of this is it has a good colour pay off. This is the first cream blush I have tried and I actually do really like it, others like the Rimmel Stay that I got in a Glossybox, I just didn't get on with. But this one is by far my favourite blusher to quickly whack on if I am running late and it lasts all day. Only £6.99.

Sleek are a popular brand in America as well as here in the UK, but one of their most popular products is their blushers, whether its a single or as a trio, the pigmentation on them is out of this world and they last all day with no sliding around the face all for just £9.99 and available in Superdrug or online. The colours do look very intimidating and bright and I would never have picked those colours to go on my cheeks but once applied they look beautiful. They are powder blushers but they aren't chalky or dusty and I can see them lasting a very long time as you don't need much because of the high pigmentation.

I had never tried a "cheek and lip tint", I was never drawn to Benefits variations, but when Octobers Glossybox arrived, I was excited that I could now try one. I love the colour it gives (it's really not as bright as what it looks in the bottle) once blended in this gives a very natural finish and this stuff lasts all day, and still looks as flawless as what it did when I first put it on and for £5.50 it's a brilliant product. This has the same packaging as a nail polish, with a brush which you can just apply straight to the face and blend with finger or brush, and I think it gives an easy application. I think an order to MeMeMe is going to happen.
